Why the word gopher sends Ohio homeowners in the wrong direction
There is a real cost to the vocabulary mix-up, and it is not embarrassment. It is the aisle you end up standing in. Number of visits, what triggers an added charge, and whether flattening the ridges and reseeding bare strips is part of the price or a separate line. Fourth: what changes about the yard afterward. Removing two moles from a wet lot that keeps producing grubs and holds mulch tight against every trunk simply opens a vacancy for the next animal. A provider who talks about drainage, mulch depth, and trunk guards alongside the traps is describing a result. One who only talks about the catch is describing a visit.
A yard calendar for a northwest Ohio winter

July and August dry the top inch and push activity deeper, which is when the browning strips appear. September and October, with fall rain, bring a second window nearly as good as spring.
